What should be done when installing the belt conveyor? The working principle of the belt conveyor is to use the open chute as a support for coal, vermiculite or materials, and fix the scraper on the chain (composing the scraper chain) as the traction member. When the head drive is started, the sprocket on the head shaft of the belt motor rotates, so that the scraper chain runs in a circular motion with the animal material shifting chute until it is unloaded at the top of the machine. The scraper chain runs around the sprocket for stepless closed loop operation to complete the conveying of materials. The installation of the belt conveyor requires the following:
1. Positioning of the belt conveyor: First determine the position of the head and tail, and then determine the center line of the belt conveyor. Laying the middle trough: Lay the middle trough according to the determined conveyor centerline. If non-metal tanks are used, the middle tank is paved with bricks and prefabricated concrete slabs, and then cast stone linings are bonded. When laying the cast stone lining board, pay attention to straightness, as few seams as possible, and the longitudinal gaps should be staggered to prevent the gaps from being ground into grooves during work.
2. The surface of the conveyor needs to be laid straight. If there is excessive bending in the plane of the conveyor, it will inevitably cause uneven force on the two chains, accelerate the wear between the chain and the cast stone on the groove wall, and even jam the chain. The overlap of each section of the tank body should be flat without steps. Due to the structural limitations of the slot body, the vertical deflection of adjacent intermediate slots should not be excessive. If the conveyor is not laid straight, the transportation power consumption will increase. Coal deposits or debris on the tunnel should be cleaned up.
3. Install the nose and tail: The nose and tail should have a certain space to facilitate maintenance and repair. The centerline of the sprocket shall be perpendicular to the centerline of the conveyor and shall be horizontal. Installation of scraper chain: Before installing the scraper chain, the scraper chain should be connected in advance, and the scraper is evenly distributed in the chain. If it is two chains, choose the same length, or assemble the paired chains at the factory. The chain must not be twisted. The side of the circular chain welding seam is facing up to prevent the chain and the sprocket from being caught.
