Belt conveyors play an important role in the transportation of bulk materials in ports. There are two ways of loading and unloading transportation system : one is to unload coal from a truck then load it via a belt conveyor system; the other is to unload coal from a truck and It is stored in the yard by stacking conveyor, and then the coal is taken from the yard by the reclaimer and loaded by the belt conveyor.

There are three ways to unload coal trucks. The materials unloaded in the three ways are directly or reproduced through a main belt conveyor with a bandwidth of 1800mm and  capacity of 3600t / h. The coal is piled into the coal yard by a stacker with a rotation radius of 30m.

When loading the ship, coal is picked up by four bucket wheel reclaimers with a capacity of 3000t / h and a rotation radius of 45m. It is transported through two belt conveyors with a bandwidth of 2200mm with belt speed of 4.3m / s and capacity of 6000t / h. Ship loaders with a line capacity of 6000 t / h and a rotation radius of 33.5 to 49.5 m load coal into 100,000-ton or 25,000-ton coal hatches.
